Trump is the Bigger Birther. And he's still a birther since he has yet to explain what changed.
@sinkspur A presidential candidate can't control a surrogate - they have their own mouth and speak their own words. Unless a candidate could tape the mouths of surrogates and remove the tape only when the absolute truth was to be spoken, the candidate can't take the responsibility of every word spoke by a surrogate.
Trump, however, used his own mouth for years bringing up the birth of Obama - he wouldn't stop just as he doesn't stop now when he starts after someone - such as the American born citizen judge in California that he says is biased against him because the Judge's parents came from Mexico.
Trump hated to say Obama is a citizen because, I agree with you, he still believes it so he isn't going to say what changed his mind because he didn't.
I don't want to start a birther war here, but Obama was born to an American citizen and he is a citizen no matter where she was when she had the birth. My grandson was born in England to an English woman and my son who is an American citizen. The grandchild has dual citizenship. My son went to the American Embassy the day the grandchild was born, and registered the birth and got him an American Passport that day stating he is an American citizen.
When the grandchild comes to this country, he gets in the American citizen line to enter the country. At the present time, this grandchild American citizen is going to college in this country as an American citizen.
