Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, according to a Tuesday report from TMZ.

Jolie cited "irreconcilable differences" in her divorce filing on Monday, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.

The 41-year-old actress is asking for sole physical custody of their six children, and is reportedly requesting that a judge grant Pitt visitation rights as opposed to joint custody.

Robert Offer, an attorney for the family, said Jolie's decision was made "for the health of the family," according to an Associated Press report.

The couple met in 2004 while filming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," and they were married in 2014.

According to TMZ, Jolie listed the couple's date of separation as September 15, 2016.

The Associated Press and CNN have confirmed the news of Jolie's divorce from Pitt. Business Insider has also reached out to both Jolie and Pitt for comment.

Angelina probably has a hot new girlfriend.

She had a preventive double mastectomy last year.  Her acting career is all but done and she's a UN spokesperson.  I'm sure those had something to do with it.

Nothing is forever or lasting these days, it seems.   The era of being married for life is gone, never to return.  My parents' generation, The Greatest Generation, will be sorely missed.  With its passing goes our hope for survival as a free nation.

She has for a long long time.   Probably less these last few years but when she was young it was very well publicized.

Seems like thats what Pitt said when he left Jennifer.    He's a very good actor but he he has limited morals when it comes to marriage and Christianity.
