Ten Tips for Getting NeverTrumpers on the Trump Train

All the things that trumpers admired in Trump are being given up and lots of liberal stuff added.  This is a quote from an article on Red State:  So he’s for touchback amnesty, single-payer healthcare, a childcare plan that is nothing more than expanded entitlements (an add-in from his daughter), a tariff on imports, is against fracking, and now wants to reconsider global warming.

Sounds like the perfect candidate.

So if the trumpers want to attract the nevertrumpers, maybe they can explain some of the above Trump programs.

The Pub party is being converted into "Blue Dog Democrats". Social issues are meaningless, rebuild defense, expand govt control over people and businesses through expansion of govt. Is it a surprise conservatives don't want any part of this?

Yup. I saw it at TOS plenty of times.

People who hadn't posted for years would pop up to post some pro progressive BS and within minutes others who hadn't posted for months or years would pop up to agree.

I don't remember the name but one in particular used to pimp the national popular vote. I got curious and googled the first sentence and found the exact same word for word post (entire paragraphs) in over 140 different places online with many of the exact same responses.

Scripted trolls.  That figures....since none of them are bright enough to come up with any comment or thoughts of their own.

That they receive marching orders and carry them out is blatantly obvious.

As is the fact that they're not bright enough to rebut the facts conservatives counter with, so they keep regurgitating the vomit of their puppet masters.

Actually he is. I don't want to out his handle here, but you can tell it's him by the heavy usage of incorrect words and wild  misspellings.

Be kind, I think these Trump supporters are quite intelligent. When faced with A = A, or the equivalent of checkmate in chess, there's really no rational way to respond. They've backed themselves into a corner, thanks to Trump's changing positions.

All they have left to counter these arguments is "Trump's not Hillary."  That is personified by most of the hosts on Salem Broadcasting Network, specifically KSKY 660 AM in Dallas, The (Wrong) Answer. Mark Davis was blubbering this morning over Trump's child care plan, responding with "he's not Hillary."

If he's against fracking, well, that's just another deal breaker all by itself. It shows he doesn't want us independent of the Saudis (Has he been playing 'Let's Make A Deal' with his saudi buddies again?)

I'm betting that he has been thinking about playing "Let's Make A Deal" with the Arabs....AND wet-dreaming about that harem thingy....lol.   He's probably missing the beauty pageant gig, after all.  All those beautiful women in one place.  Like he said, he will go back to a VERY nice life after this is all over.

Oh, I have no doubt that some, perhaps even the majority of them are otherwise intelligent.  But the fact is that they cannot rationally defend in any way, shape or form, their support of Trump because it is based on emotion and not thought, so they fumble around and make fools of themselves.

But those who troll conservative forums like this one, I believe are not bright at all.  They are lackeys and post what they are instructed to post.  That is why, when conservatives post reams of facts and sources citing the error of the position they've spammed, they respond with the equivalent of, "Oh, yeah?? Well your Mom wears combat boots!"

Without someone speaking in their ear buds calling out instructions, they're dopes.

Yes, this is what I have been begging for.  I have said it more succinctly as, "sell Trump to me.  Do it without using the words Hillary, Cruz, Levin or Beck."

I don't see much success tho.  In the article, he supports point 1 by acknowledging every voter has a right to not vote.  OK, so what?  Then in point 2 he simply discusses how "Trump brought immigration and national security to the forefront of politics."  OK, so what?  We already knew these things and I was honestly hoping for something better.

Since your "fine" example is from 2011, can I go back to 2011 for Trump's position on issues? 

Besides, we know that Trump currently supports same sex marriage, and Newt supports Trump.  What does that make Newt?  Based on your example above, he is a liar.  If not, then he is simply a sell-out.

That's the argument for most of the "conservative" talk show hosts backing Trump....he's not Hlllary. Like we didn't know that. Mark Steyn spent three hours today doing the same thing as Davis....Trump is better than Hillary. Gee thanks Mark, like we didn't know that.
But now I wonder how all the Birthers feel about Trump backpedaling on that issue.  They'll still vote for him, but that's another subset of Trumpsters who have been betrayed.
