Please explain to me how it is that MY thread is now shown as started by you?

I laid down for a nap when my thread was over 100 posts and now it's missing.

Oh great.  Another (2000, one of a kind... we thought) cluster you-know-what of an election.  This may turn out to be an even bigger disaster than previously expected.
@XenaLee

If you think this may be a cluster-grab, consider this:  What if she wins, gets Inaugurated and then short-circuits?  Then the 25th Amendment comes into play.  Here is the language from the Amendment that would apply:

Quote
Section 4.

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

I know of no standing "body as Congress may provide", so I imagine it will take a majority of "the principal officers of the executive departments" to decide if she's too messed up to be President.  Considering the propensity of Democrat Presidents to surround themselves with worthless yes-men, one must ask of whom such a panel would that be composed?  And would it be just Cabinet officers?  What about people that are the Directors of other major departments?  Does John Koskinen of the IRS get a vote?  Is there the slightest possibility of political chicanery?

Is that last question a total laugher considering we're talking about a Clinton White House?  :silly:

People are going to vote on the issues and maybe on character.  They will overlook health issues.  Mark my words.  Pushing this makes the Republicans look like fools and heartless bullies.  If Hillary is too ill to be President, time will tell.  They should let nature take its course, put their halos on and send well wishes.  Voters have actually been known to vote for a dead person out of sympathy.  This is not a winning issue.

On the other hand,  go for it Trumpsters.  Crash and burn.

Yep, seems to me when you have the two worst candidates in history running for POTUS, if one drops out the remaining candidate has no chance.  Trump supporters should be holding prayer vigils for Hilliary to make it to the election....

I think she just combined several threads into one. It defaults to go to the first thread on the topic.

Bullsh*t!

Nobody had posted on Mr. Close's thread and it even dropped off the page.

This morning at 6am I posted Clarice Feldman's article in OPINIONS....had 50 views and nobody had posted on it.

When I noticed that Nancy had also posted it and that Sinkspur had replied to hers....I DELETED mine.

THAT'S how it's supposed to work here.

Furthermore:   the title of my thread is as it is showing right now....with [BREAKING] contained as the 1st word.  If you're going to merge threads, then Nancy started neither of them.

Fix it.

"Principal officers of the executive departments" is the legal term for the Cabinet secretaries (State, Treasury, Defense, Justice, Interior, Agriculture, Commerce, Labor, HHS, HUD, Transportation, Energy, Education, VA and Homeland Security). That language is pretty airtight: only those positions get to vote.

However, such secretaries would have had to be appointed and approved by the Senate before such a meeting happened.

o'er-the-hillary isn't "gravely" ill. That implies an affliction that is so serious as to be on the edge of death's door.

But she -does- appear to be subject to bouts of serious illness.
More than that, these bouts seem to be occurring more frequently.

Whether she will respond to treatment, can't say.
But... obviously she -is- being "treated", and just as obviously, the treatments don't seem to be helping her condition.

The questions going forward:
Let's suppose she does get herself elected.
Will the pressures of the office of President be more taxing upon her, or less so (that those of the campaign)?
Will such pressures drive her health further downward?
If so, who will be pulling the strings behind her?

Found it.
@AbaraXas

Ignore looking at the shadows and look at her right pants leg and compare it to her left pants leg.  The right one is crumpled, wrinkled, like there is something under the fabric taking up space - likely the device a few doctors suggest she is wearing for urine collection.

Then let me clarify the question:  Is there any chance the gaggle of yes-men Hillary would appoint (and the Senate would certainly confirm) would vote out of concern for their sinecures and not in the best interest of the country whether or not Madam President is capable of the duties of the office?

DC, seriously, why are you this way? Who cares which one gets top billing? This isn't some little t-ball game for kids where they are fighting over who gets to bat and someone complains someone else went first. It doesn't matter. Even if your 'bs' comment was true (it isn't), in the big picture of, well pretty much everything, it isn't important.

They know it's the Supreme Court makeup that will deliver the coup de grace to out Republic.

They need to control the White House next January.  It's all about the Court.

Interesting that her big collapse that can no longer be ignored happened on 911. Reminds of her lie in 2001 about Chelsea being in danger and the dead in Benghazi in 2012.

You can always tell when a woman is feeling "under the weather".  Her hair looks like she just ran a brush through it and ran out of the door.  Considering how much money Hillary has to spend on hairdressers, it's really odd seeing her hair like that.... in its almost natural state (gray would be the real natural state).
