Nah... There's hours of his preaching on Youtube. I have listened to quite a bit of it. Not TV fodder, which is of a nature much like Dukes - Rednecks laughing at rednecks - This is actual preaching. What a disappointment.
The sacrament of baptism is a symbol of washing away the old.
Maybe I got what I have been taught about baptism all wrong. I thought Water baptism was an outward declaration of an inward, personal decision to make Jesus Christ the Lord & redeemer of your life. An act of obedience and a public declaration of your faith in Jesus. And it had nothing to do with politics and making followers of an opposing political theory crazy, and a rock-star with those like you.
@AbaraXas The sacrament of baptism is a symbol of washing away the old.
That's funny. I loved it.
I could almost hear my mother (passed away) groaning about it every time it came on....which was a LOT! I know she would have hated it, so maybe that's why I hated it.
Absolutely true.I don't know how genuine Robertson ever was, but he's clearly off the path if this is what he thinks. It's absolutely shameful to use something sacred to do something profane.
I'm not going to question Robertson being a genuine Christian, but it is a perfect example of Trump and his celebrity status supporters habbit of saying stupid things. As an alternative to that "That's Not How It Works" commercial that we here either love ot hate, how about this idea far an ad:if you are Trump supporter you have your foot in your mouth. Its What You Do.
I don't doubt Pat's salvation.......... just this statement that is theologically vapid, and not at all consistent with the Christian faith.
Wasn't Pat.It was Phil.
.
... And I'd say... From the look of his Bible, he surely ought to know better.
This is very interesting. Phil offers to baptize trump to drive left-wingers crazy. On this board, just the headline is enough to drive the left-wingers crazy. It sure brings out the circle-jerks.
