A memo Sidney Blumenthal forwarded to his friend Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state contained information classified as SECRET both when he sent it and currently, the FBI’s Clinton email investigation report says.

It was already known that about two dozen of the hundreds of emails Blumenthal sent Clinton during her tenure contained classified information.

But the FBI’s report, released Friday, reveals for the first time that one of the emails contained information the government considers to have been classified as soon as it hit Clinton’s inbox.

That's the real story here.  Who was leaking classified info to Blumenthal.  I suppose it really doesn't matter though.  Not in the Obamanation.  As long as you have that magic "D" beside your name, you're in the clear.

I am not defending him (Comey) in any way, in fact I never understood the bi-partisan cheerleading for him, but perhaps he understands that if he (anyone) pulls that string, the whole mess would unravel?

That's the real story here.  Who was leaking classified info to Blumenthal.  I suppose it really doesn't matter though.  Not in the Obamanation.  As long as you have that magic "D" beside your name, you're in the clear.

It is my opinion that this whole sordid mess is much larger, deeper, and older than we can imagine.  Hence my prior comment.

Comey has been given assurances for hundred$ of thousands of dollars of extra income annually  for life, when he retires (or sooner).

He probably figures out on his own, that resistance was dangerous.

Let it unravel. It needs unraveling. This is why Trump is now in the position he is in. People view him as possibly an unraveler. People view the current status quo of leftist liberal democrats such as Kasich, McCain, Jebbie, Romney, Ryan, etc., as the problem.

The issue here is that there will be an unraveling. An unraveling is going to occur - and soon. Who do want to be in charge during the unraveling and how do we want the unraveling to occur, and who do we want to control the unraveling? (Congress, president, supreme court, etc.)

Ultimately there will be an unraveling, although I am not so sure that it will be soon.  I believe that it will take an extraordinary event to precipitate it.
