At the Reagan Library on Thursday, Gov. Mike Pence cast Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in the mold of President Ronald Reagan. An unapologetic Reagan Republican, Pence effectively positioned Trump as the natural heir to the legacy of America’s fortieth president, reasserting the themes that Pence showcased during his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention.

“There’s so much that’s different in terms of their style and background,” Pence acknowledged, but he posited that despite these differences, “there are fundamental similarities between these two men.”

Trump couldn't carry President Reagan's  shoes.  Mentioning Trump and President Reagan in the same sentence should be a crime.

I find it interesting that in one breath, the Trumpists have to bash Reagan and actual Conservatives in order to make Trump's Liberalism palpable to the emoting class, and then insist that Trump and Reagan are policy soul mates in the next when Trump's own trade policies were borrowed from Hillary who borrowed them from Sanders.

Any and all means to get their prince the throne. 

Now they are busy selling Trump hard to Christians, apparently the poll numbers have them affrighted that Trump really cannot win without the Conservatives he and his rabid followers said they did not need.
