This reminds me a bit of the Rick Perry foul up at the debates 4 years ago where he said some agencies need to be trimmed out of the Federal Budget and then, when asked which, he couldn't name any. I'm just not sure if this is all that bad. Spin.

I'm not sure if this speculation is correct either. The website has broken a big story before.

Clinton Operatives Behind Media Attack On Gary Johnson

The gotcha question was posed by MSNBC’s Mike Barnicle, a man who was ecstatic over Hillary Clinton’s eventual defeat of primary challenger, Bernie Sanders, saying it was a moment that made her a “free woman running for President of the United States.”

Mr. Barnicle, seemingly out of nowhere, slung a “what would you do about Aleppo?” question at the Libertarian candidate. Aleppo is a city in Syria, but there had been no previous discussion about Syria, and though Aleppo is certainly an important component of the ongoing Syrian conflict, it is but one of several critical areas related to the Syrian civil war:

“You’re kidding?”

So WHY has the media suddenly turned on Gary Johnson when just weeks ago, it was actually promoting him?

Simply put, the polls are showing Johnson taking away slightly more of potential Clinton vote share than he is from Trump (mainly because the nevertrump vote doesn't trust Johnson). So the Clintons see Johnson as a threat, especially with her falling and Trump rising—never mind Johnson's been fading a bit, too, but not as much.

If you heard Johnson lately, he sounds more like a Liberal Rat with a drug fetish than a Libertarian. That is why Bernie voters like him and are going that direction than with Hitlary.
