The candidate is getting desperate. His efforts to marginalize Ted Cruz and browbeat his supporters into getting on that Trump Train have only succeeded in driving voters away. So now Trump is trying to court minorities and looking for votes under every rock. Not working. The Hispanic/Latino community knows he's lying and now it appears the black community is rejecting him too. A significant number of voters are wise to Trump and his lies and broken promises. No amount of pandering will bring him the votes he needs to make up for all the votes he has lost through his own actions and bad behavior.
Exactly. Trump is NOT trying to get black votes, though. This is Kellyanne Conway pandering to white women with black people as props. But blacks are not playing along.
Trump insulting his way to the nomination turned off a huge number of women and he is not going to get them back. He can't reverse a year's worth of what every person saw and heard.
Trump is an open book and voter's don't want to read it any longer.
