This was in the news a few months ago.
Some one actually had a transcript of the then Gov.Clinton speech at one of the flag days and read it on the air.
Times have changed, that's for sure.
I don't think we should ever run from our history, myself, whether some others may determine it to be good, bad, or ugly.

I can't be redefined as nationalism/populism just because someone wants it to be.
Nothing wrong with "America first", but when you move to the left on all but the Supreme Court now (which is also up in the air, and open for discussion,for the moment) what good did it do?
So if I won't vote for a half or 3/4 liberal over a full liberal makes me a liberal, have fun with that.
