Dr. Alveda King is looking to set the record straight about reports circulated Wednesday by numerous media outlets alleging that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump snubbed key pro-life advocates.

There's very little a president can legally do for the inner cities aside from promising to shower money on them which has never solved anything. He can promise to bring jobs back but even if he could actually make good on the promise, the jobs are unlikely to land in the inner cities. There's a bit of a tech boom going on in Detroit but those jobs are going right downtown and require college educated employees.

Fixing the inner city starts with tough talk about personal responsibility and the fact that government cannot and should not fix their lives.
