The Flipside of "Conservative Media"

If we have to ask whether conservative media created Trump, we should not stop there. We should ask who created conservative media. The answer is actually the mainstream media.

Conservative media exists in a world where the mainstream media decided it could feign objectivity, but skew left. My favorite example is the abortion debate where Wendy Davis gets covered as a national story, but Kermit Gosnell is a local crime story. Female pro-abortion activists, labeled ‘pro-choice’, are rarely put on television with female pro-life, labeled ‘anti-abortion’, activists. They are most often put on television with a man. It is a subtle, but intentional, bit of bias.

Most of the so called "conservative media" has collapsed into a quivering puddle of Trump love with all the objectivity, honesty, and integrity of a Chris Matthews/Rachael Maddow love child.

When he told FOX and friends that Rafael Cruz was involved in the JFK assassination those simple minded idiots just nodded politely with concerned looks on their faces. The very next day Trump told Wolf Blitzer that he didn't really believe Rafael Cruz was involved in the JFK assassination but he wanted to win. Yet after Trump admitted to lying to win not one of the simpletons in the "conservative" media had the stones to question Trump about it.

The result of allowing Trump to blatantly lie is that a month later he returns to repeat the same lie that he admitted was a lie.

As far as Breitbart is concerned, They're like a beloved dog that has contracted rabies and there's only one humane thing to do. The same with The Drudge Report.
