Iran expands jihad terror network in Latin America, using embassies as intelligence centers

August 26, 2016 11:57 pm By Christine Williams 9 Comments

Executive director at the Center for a Secure Free Society (SFS) Joseph Humire revealed the reality of the Lebanese Hezbollah’s activities in Latin America and how Iran is using its embassies there as intelligence centers.

This is nothing new about Iran, which has a long history of using its embassies abroad as launching pads for its jihadist ambitions. This includes its Quds Force.

Hizballah “operates on two levels in Latin America – on a licit and illicit level”; on the illicit level through drugs, human and arms trafficking, and on the “licit” level through the spreading of their networks via Islamic centers and mosques.
