My response would be that he's successfully accomplished as much for the Conservative movement as Ted Cruz did/does.

I've already acknowledged that Trump is no Conservative.  Dozens of times, perhaps.

I DON'T CARE!

Not with the other possible winner selecting the next 3 SCOTUS justices.

And as I've said to others...fair enough and thank you for your honesty...most trumpeters won't go there.

But ultimately, as I said in that post 59 (which was posited because you denigrated me and my principles), I believe it will take conservative principles to pull us back from the brink.  And as we've chosen, by your own admission, someone who is not conservative, I believe we are royally and completely screwed (which is when you called me a drama queen).

I understand you have a different perception and different principles, we all do.  You place great value on the SCOTUS nominations.  Believe it or not, so do I.  I just have absolutely zero faith in Trump to nominate anyone better than Hillary will.  He had too many weasel words in there when he put forth his list...and for goodness sake, if he can completely back away from"the wall", a cornerstone of his entire candidacy, why on earth should I believe anything he says on SCOTUS noms?

At risk of seeming shrill on the subject, What point is there in having either laws or a border if they aren't going to be enforced?

 Elsewhere in the country, American Citizen parents are keel hauled by Social services because their kids skip school but it is economically inconvenient to bother to enforce the Federal immigration laws or the borders? WTF? And why in the hell are we paying for this? Congress will just have to hire Americans for pool cleaners, house servants, and nannies.

The system is broken, and it isn't going to get unbroken if everyone just looks the other way.
I've been paying taxes since I was 14, you don't think those were economically inconvenient? There are times when If I had that money, it would have saved my little economy from collapsing. Maybe they should take their little enterprise zone home to their native land, and be legal there.

Perhaps if we deported the people who knowing hired them, too, right along with them, that economy would eventually recover.

The fact is that DC has your back too.  You want smaller government?...so does DC.  You want to squeeze out special interests?...same.  You want every able-bodied American carrying?  Hell yes!  You want the rats to be a permanent minority party? yep.  You want illegal immigration stopped?  uh huh.  You want Jesus restored as the center of American culture...

I've known DC for almost 3 years now.  He don't take no sh!t, but he doesn't push it either.  He's the real deal.  He's as conservative as they make them and I can tell you he is just as disappointed that I don't support Trump as I am disappointed that he does.  Plus he's a huge comic book nerd and it is really hard to find conservative comic book nerds.

You can talk to Musiclady or Oceander and they will tell you nobody is more aggravating than DC.  Nobody has pushed their button repeatedly more than DC.  I have mad-deep love for Musiclady and Oceander, you'll learn alot from both, but if you want your views challenged from a conservative perspective...if you want to strengthen your arguments...you should read more of DC's posts.

He is intellectually honest, and he pulls no punches.

Seems like, I dunno, giving up rather easily. As a Trump Realist - cr @LonestarDream  I view a Trump Presidency as a beachhead to gain ground on which to fight.

And, I do my best to refrain from despair.  My faith and my morality do not allow it.
