Second, the rapt attention of the audience.
Third, people in the audience were actually getting that with their phones...
Fourth, Applause.
I have been in some towns where the Post Office, bar & grille, pool hall, cafe (shared a kitchen with the Bar & grille), gas station, and general store were in the same not-so-very large building, but I have to admit, those folks are hard up for entertainment.
