Because he articulated the point well and I believe in giving people credit where credit is due and George Bernard Shaw was correct on that point. Orwell was good at identifying the problems of tyranny and not as good at suggesting solutions. I'm always looking for a good turn of phrase.

No, it was Orwell although after 20 years he became disenchanted and left the society. Likely wrote "1984" to spit in their faces. They absorbed his estate when he died. regardless.

How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
