Russian Giant Aircraft Carrier Deployed to Syria's Waters
Russian is to reinvigorate its anti-terrorism operations in Syria via deployment of its Aircraft Carrier, Admiral Kuznetsov, near the Syrian coasts in the Mediterranean Sea, sources said.
"Russia's war on ISIS terrorists will strengthen by dispatch of Kuznetsov aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean Sea near the waters of war-hit Syria," sources said.
An informed source told Ria Novosti that Kuznetsov carrier is under the last phases of technical checks and will be ready to do its missions in Syria till end of September.
A senior Russian navy officer said earlier this month that Russia's Aircraft Carrier was preparing to start flights of the country's latest fighter jet from near the Syrian coasts.
