I read something yesterday about Manafort being involved with organizing Ukrainian anti NATO protesters who ended up throwing rocks at American soldiers with NATO. If I recall correctly he was working in concert with the left wing Podesta Group.

His "read" admission of saying he had used wrong words and may have hurt people, was written by someone else and he read it, didn't mean a word of it.  I'm sure that was Conway's suggestion that it be done.  She is likely the one who said go to Louisiana to appear concerned about those who went through that flood. 

I agree Trump won't like the "short-leash" of being a nice guy.  He is what he is before Conway got there.
If he stops reading from teleprompters, he will be back just as gross as ever.

Paul Manafort resigns from Trump campaign

Paul Manafort on Friday resigned as Donald Trump's campaign chairman, after the Republican nominee earlier this week announced a new leadership structure for his campaign.

“This morning Paul Manafort offered, and I accepted, his resignation from the campaign. I am very appreciative for his great work in helping to get us where we are today, and in particular his work guiding us through the delegate and convention process. Paul is a true professional and I wish him the greatest success," Trump said in a statement.
