Team Trump Emails 'Campaign Strategy Survey' to Supporters

With the box checked on its campaign shakeup, the Donald Trump campaign moved on to Stage 2 of its reformation — emailing supporters a 30-question survey on what it should do next.

Titled "Trump Campaign Strategy Survey," the campaign sent an email saying Trump is up against "the fight of a lifetime," according to the Washington Examiner.

"To win this fight, Trump is turning to his most trusted advisers: the American People," the Examiner quoted the email.

A sample of the multiple-choice survey questions include:

Should Trump spend more of his time going after Hillary's record and her positions on the issues?
Should Trump invest more time and resources in YOUR state?
Should Trump focus more on positive or negative advertising?
A wall must be built along the southern border of the United States to stop the flow of illegal immigration. (With a range of answers from strongly agree to strongly disagree)
Republicans are correct to wait until Trump becomes president to confirm Justice Scalia’s replacement on the Supreme Court. (With a range of answers from strongly agree to strongly disagree)
Political correctness has gone too far. It now threatens our national security. (With a range of answers from strongly agree to strongly disagree)
A Republican House and Senate will best empower Trump to pass necessary reforms for our country. (With a range of answers from strongly agree to strongly disagree)

The survey comes on the heels of a major shakeup within the campaign early Wednesday. Trump hired Breitbart News chairman Stephen Bannon to be his campaign CEO and Kellyanne Conway as his campaign manager, the title held by the ousted Corey Lewandowski in Trump Team shakeup Part I a few months ago.

Paul Manafort, though still part of the team, was effectively demoted.

This is nothing new: political fundraisers have been "soliciting advice" this way since forever.  The survey gets thrown out -- it's just a fancy wrapper for the check they hope will be enclosed.
