As usual, we are not in the primary season, some of us did not vote for Trump but will not abandon the candidate of the GOP.

We did not do it for Romney, nor McCain nor the Bushes and Dole.

This is not a difficult matter to understand.

Ahhh.  So if the GOP had nominated David Duke, you'd be all in for him, correct?  If the GOP had nominated Nancy Pelosi, you'd be all in for her, correct?

And if the GOP had nominated Hillary Clinton, you'd be all in for her as well.

I also rely on the assumption that the Sun will always rise in the East, and that it will set in the West tonight.  So does most of the rest of the world.  The same applies to the conclusion that Trump will lose to Hillary.  If you have some evidence to the contrary - reliable and not anecdotal - please do share it, because as far as I can see, the objective evidence is that Trump keeps digging himself deeper and deeper into the hole of ignominy and continues to scare off more and more independent, moderate, and even republican voters.  Those are exactly the sort of people who are crucial to him winning; Trumpkins, despite their own egotism and naive belief to the contrary, will not do it for him.  Not only is the Orange Wonder set to lose, each day makes it more and more likely that he will lose in a landslide that will probably be greater than Reagan's winning landslide in 1980.

Elections are not reality TV, and the only thing Trump knows is reality TV; it's about the only thing he's ever been really successful at.

So, good luck with that one.  And thanks for effing up the one election in the last 20 years that was a foregone win for the republicans, until you forced Donald on us.

I can't take credit for nominating or voting for Trump...yet.

How so? Were we not just told to vote GOP no matter what?

How so?  You said you will always support the GOP nominee because he or she is the nominee.  If you cannot accept the logical consequences of your own statements, then you're a fool or a hypocrite.

On the other hand, if you're conceding that you would not support any of those people if they were the nominee, then you're exactly the same as us, but with just a slightly higher tolerance for B.S.

As my crim law professor used to say in class when a student had finally backed him/herself into a logical corner, "now that we've established you're for sale, let's renegotiate the price."

I still find it a bit ironic that Hannity's theme song is 'Independence Day' (by Martina McBride I think)- it is a song about divorce.

Divorce from a wife-beating drunk.  That's what Hannity identifies with?  How quaint.

They used to be friends, though since this election cycle I wonder if that is still the case.  Early on, Hannity no longer called into Mark's show, nor gave him any time to plug Mark's recent book and show.

Given some of the memes and things he responds to regarding Trump - it makes me wonder if Hannity has attempted the hard-sell and shaming schtick that most of the Trumpians have resorted to.  Made Levin pretty pissed off in his response to it.  Mark often says of recent, that many of those he thought were 'Conservatives' have shown their true stripes - and they no longer call in or talk to him anymore.

Levin may be the lone voice still left out there from the big talkers that has not surrendered his principles wholesale in order to plug a person he knows is detrimental to Conservatism itself.

And he has made lot of enemies in the Establishment as a result of not playing the games that Hannity has always played with them, and Limbaugh has now surrendered to.

I do notice a common denominator, and that is - of the big show hosts, those who are from or spent time in NYC doing their shows - seems to get along fine with Trump.
The rest of the country…. not so much.

Maybe that explains it.  I don't care for or like New York.  Been there, done that.

I stand with Mark Levin.  Or rather.....he stands with me re: Trump.

Hannity has lost all reason and discernment.....if he ever had any.  The only one sabotaging Trump's candidacy is Trump.  Sean needs to open his clouded eyes and get a whiff of the reality that we've been getting for some time now.  It's astonishing (to me) that everyone can't see what we see in Trump.   Surreal, in fact.

The only thing I can figure out is that people like Sean are just lining up and preparing their scapegoats and excuses now ....for when Trump loses in November, as we have predicted all along.   They are just that intellectually dishonest.  They'll be blaming the very same people who tried to warn them from the beginning that Trump wasn't in it to win it.

Can't lose what you never had but I otherwise agree with you!

Didn't you learn your lesson when you voted for that evil Christian killer George W. Bush, that you've been spamming about on every thread here?

Didn't you learn your lesson when you voted for that evil abortionist killer Ronald Reagan that you spammed us so much about a while back?

Are you a slow learner?

Or is Trump the only Republican who hasn't killed anyone............ in your esteemed opinion??

Oh................. and maybe you should answer Oceander's question about whether or not you would vote for David Duke if he were the nominee.  It's a valid question if you are here trying to browbeat us into voting for someone who doesn't share a single value we have.

Donald Trump?  David Duke?  Are we forced to vote for ANYONE who gets the GOP nomination, no matter how repulsive and corrupt??

I haven't listened to Hannity's radio show for several years...since the 2012 election, I think.  I can remember the day I switched him off back then.  He was repeating one of his worn-out catchphrases for the ten thousandth time---"If you elect a Republican, black churches are gonna burn...Republicans want to throw Grandma off the cliff."  I couldn't take it any more.

So, a couple of weeks ago Trump pulled something especially stupid---can't recall what it was, there's too much to keep track of---and I decided to turn on Hannity's show just briefly to see how he would react.

Keep in mind it's been years since I listened.  Well, I turned on his show, and there he was in the middle of it---"Republicans want to throw Grandma off the cliff, if you elect Republicans black churches are gonna burn."

I yelled something unprintable and turned him off.

Did he say his tired old (obviously deceitful) line about "I'm a registered Conservative, not a registered Republican?"

If I ever turned his show on again (I won't) and heard him whine out that lie, I'd probably break the radio.

The guy's a total fraud.

I don't know if it is just me or not.. I think the problem I have with Hannity (and other shows), is that it has just become nothing more than a whining and moaning fest.. Basically turning into nothing but Michael Savage clones or close to Michael Savage.

Exactly. I like a little positivism to go with my endless rage or wrist slitting despair. In fact I think they are part of the reason we're in such a mess. They're the ones who spout endlessly but never point out that our congressmen are individuals and not some mindless borg collective out to screw us all.

Its become very rare for me to listen to any of them but I do enjoy Mark Levin if he's got a good guest or is talking about a good subject.

You rely on assumption that Trump can't beat Hillary. "neither" is simply not wanting to play for fear that you might be wrong or lose.

Neither means both candidates are deficient in every way. Neither are deserving of my vote.

To be honest, I'm not looking for them to be an echo chamber. But when the GOP does something wrong they need to be criticized for it.. I'm fine with it.. The only show that I listen to nowadays is the Michael Medved show and know what he is quite fair and open minded.. Something that a lot of talk shows used to be.

I realize my sentence wasn't clear.

How he is registered is not a lie (that I know of), but that he is a Conservative and not a Republican is.

NO Conservative non-Republican can be so in love with liberal Trump.

Hannity is backing the "Republican" nominee over principle, and accusing those who actually ARE "Conservative and not Republican" of being to blame if Hillary wins.

In truth, Hannity, et al, will bear part of the blame for Hillary's victory.

We will not.

Okay, gitcha!

I believe the (not-so-)Conservative Party is endorsing Trump.

I'm no longer a member of either the CP or RP.

I'll tune in to his show on election night to see the meltdown.

Only if you don't want to see Madam President.

You and your prince had repeatedly told us Conservatives that Trump did not need, nor want our votes to "win".

I want to see you people actually accomplish what you assured everyone you would do without us.

I'm perfectly resigned to the fact our next dear leader ruler will be 'madam president', because I understand where we have arrived and see no benefit lying to myself about the truth of what is coming next.

When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775
