Chapter Prez Steals $50,000 From NAACP Then Skips Court Date

Do you still think the racism industry isn’t just a moneymaking racket? A local chapter president of the NAACP ripped the organization off for over $50,000. Sure, that isn’t a Sharptonian level of fraud, but it’s also not an isolated incident. “Black” organizations pull in tons of cash, but you never really hear about them using those funds to help the black community. Now, at least in part, you know what that money is used for.
The Beloit Daily News reports that 59-year-old Birdia McAlister was the Beloit, WI NAACP chapter president until her arrest on fraud and embezzlement last year. The trouble started for her when someone noticed a whole lot of money missing from the organization’s account.
