I am left to wonder how much Trump's dad paid for his economics degree.  Because it is clear that Donnie didn't learn a damn thing at Penn.

Seriously, Trump is arguing that the federal government should borrow now to take advantage of low interest rates.  He is totally oblivious to the fact that the reason interest rates are low is because the government has withdrawn itself from the pool of borrowers, choosing instead to print money rather than borrow it.

We are so screwed.

This is the exact same belief that Paul Krugman has—that it doesn't matter how much debt or income you have, if rates are low, borrow, borrow, borrow because rates will be higher someday.

It's the equivalent of buying the big bag of dog food on sale when you don't have a dog.
