ABINGDON, Va. -- Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will be speaking in Abingdon on Wednesday afternoon.

Trump will make remarks at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center at 2:00 p.m., according to a published schedule announcement on his website.

The event will not be open to the public and it's not clear what topics Trump will speak on at the event in Abingdon.
