When American kids attend universities overseas, I doubt we taxpayers fund their adventures.

But when foreign students come here, they have the backing of their governments. Mr. Mountaineer recently retired as a college administrator, and the various "internationals" from various Middle Eastern and Asian nations at his small state university were sent by their governments. Colleges love international students because they pay full fare.
