Terrorism Possible in Fatal London Knife Attack, Police Say

NBC News



A man was in custody Wednesday night after he went on a rampage with a knife in central London, killing a woman and injuring five other people in what police said was a possible terrorist attack.

No details on the identities or conditions of the wounded were immediately available.

The Metropolitan Police said the man was arrested about 10:40 p.m. (5:40 p.m. ET) after he was brought down with a Taser in Russell Square, near the British Museum.

They had a headline in the British press - "Attacker is Norwegian."  Of course, in the very next paragraph, it was revealed that he was a Somali resident in Norway.  So far, they say they have "found no evidence of radicalization," of course.
