According to a scoop from the Associated Press, the CEO of the Democratic National Committee resigned Tuesday.

Three Democratic strategists familiar with the situation tell AP that Amy Dacey has resigned in the wake of the leaked email scandal that engulfed the Democratic Party last week. DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz had already resigned after the hacked emails released by Wikileaks appeared to show institutional favoritism toward eventual Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.....

Isn't this old news already? Why should they resign over old news?

Unless they were all party to the favoritism as well.... but if so, why agree to replace Wasserman Schultz in the first place?
