You are correct....many here would prefer her to win rather than the GOP nominee. Many are acting directly to make it happen with relentless attacks on the GOP nominee. Now, many will assert that they are voting for a 3rd party or for a write in...but the truth is, they know this is going to come down to either Hillary or Trump. And they would prefer it to be Hillary...most seem to think this will "teach a lesson" to the GOP for nominating a rogue who they think not conservative enough. As ignorant, shortisighted and foolish as that clearly would be, with the cost of it being 3-4 SCJ's and a permanent swing of the courts to the extreme Left, it does seem to be the case.

Richard Armitage, Henry Paulson, Brent Scowcroft. Three big-name former George W. Bush administration officials in the past two weeks have announced that they are supporting Hillary Clinton in 2016 — all because Donald Trump is simply a bridge too far for them.

It's pathetic...but I can see why.  There's not a micrometer that can measure the differences between Donnie Lord Trumpy and Queen Billary.

VERY little.  Biggest difference is, the letter on the Party Hats - and that Trumpy pretends to have reverence for the flag.  Maybe he does - he's done very well in the Crony State of Amerika.

Billary doesn't even have that vestige of gratitude.

But the crony insiders know that Billary's puppetmasters will work with them and keep the river of taxpayer-cash flowing their way.

If your priority is to DEFEAT Trump and Trumpism,  voting for Clinton is, mathematically,  the most effective way to do that.   I can understand why many conservatives would rather, as Don Elmets said, live four years with President Clinton than one day with a deranged and fascist President Trump. 

Right now,  I'm for Gary Johnson in hopes that he may be an effective way to oppose evil in both pernicious forms presented to us this year.  But I won't say definitively that I will fail to maximize the utility of my vote as a resident of this year's biggest swing state.
