James Carville, Democrat political consultant extraordinaire – and former Bill Clinton campaign manager, has astonishingly come out and said what all good Republicans have known for decades: Not only are most Democrats politically clueless; they’re easily manipulated by the puppet masters of their party as well. Wow. James Freaking Carville. Of all people. Here’s an excerpt, as quoted on Amazon.com:

A  great many of my friends and associates are not as engaged as we are and really have no clue about whats going on. Trump has been successful in part because he speaks in headlines not in detail.

Trump is the first demagogue I can remember able to seduce the Pubbie faithful. I didn't think that many Pubbie voters could be taken in by a conman. I suppose the dream of The Wall had a lot to do with it. Heck, I support a wall. But so many fell for Trump's bs on other matters.
I'm sure many Trump supporters are simply going along with the party because they hate Hillary, but many of his supporters really believe the swill he dishes out.
I mean who believes some guy who says he's the ONLY!!! person who can save the country? People like that should be automatically shunned.
And you've got weasels like Tucker Carlson who criticized Bernie Sanders for not following his conscience clueless about their own hypocrisy.

Trump has used "sound bites" like no Republican has, in recent memory. Popular themes, simply stated.

In a nutshell it explains his success, and the other candidates' failures.

Most of Trump's stated positions (message) are what "conservatives" have been asking for, for a long time.

Now some that gather here, are sad their messengers lost. It has to be galling, to see a relative amateur pick up on what works in politics, above professionals.

Full Bore homo rights over Christians? nope.
