Media seems to be going nuts over Trump asking the Russians to help with the emails.

Conflating the TWO email scandals is brilliant.

Perhaps the Russians can help with the 900 FBI files or the Vince Foster investigation as well.

Do not like want to see Ted diminished, but Trump never called for the carpet bombing.

Will tell you something else.  Trump position on the minimum wage was brilliant too.

He noted that it should largely be up to the states AND that it would hurt places like New York since jobs would leave.

Said we needed to make jobs pay more than the minimum wage, but...

'We have to take care of people' maybe $10.


In other words, he sees the 'animal spirits' element of it, knows that it will hurt job growth and gets to call Bernie a liar--

Bernie had stated that Trump wanted to lower the min wage.

Well bombing the s- out of them implies more precision than 'Carpet Bombing' them does.

I like Cruz.  In context at the time, the comment was meant to sound tough.

Yay Cruz.  But Trump is coming off 'smart' here...

Trump is going to need Tim Scott, Mike Lee , Sasse, Cruz and even Rubio in the Senate.

Hopefully, there is some kind of rapprochement before Nov.

See above.  The federal part is to prove Bernie wrong and motivate people to work (animal spirits in behavioral economics).

The state part is acknowledges that while he may suggest, he will allow NY and AL to set wage policy for local conditions. 

Is there a political element to it?  Sure.  But Hillary and Bernie would have AL at 15$$

Why not just say "let states handle it"?  He can't say that because Trump has to stick his nose into everything: minimum wage, transgender bathrooms, law enforcement.

Trump has 10 point plan for the VA.  Bet he does answer WH hot line sometimes.

As for the football, he has many more grandkids to lose than Hillary.

But if I am a bad guy like NK or China-- Trimp carrying the football has more deterrence than Hillary (see Benghazi)
