99 weeks. That is what unemployment has been extended to. It was extended to help the American worker who is facing hard times and lost their job. There is no doubt that it is being abused, but there is a little known fact that has been covered up in Obama's announcement a few weeks ago that they would no longer be deporting illegal aliens who are 30 or under and that they would be given work permits. This fact is that illegal aliens with work permits will now be entitled to collect unemployment benefits. I'm assuming all 99 weeks of unemployment benefits.

As this article is from Colorado, it refers to that state, but it is across the country.

Denver Post

[Colorado] officials, too, are preparing for a shift because those working under temporary work permits can receive Colorado unemployment insurance if they lose their job through no fault of their own.

Colorado's current law allows payments to go to people who were legally working.

Haven't the courts basically told Obama to pound sand on his executive actions re: illegals?
