Quote
...Donald Trump came, saw and conquered. His children went four for four in terrific speeches with Ivanka almost stealing the night from her father.

But it was the original Trump who milked his long Thursday night speech — purposeful and a ratings bonanza — to lay out his message in disciplined, audience-by-audience focused fashion... Five stars for all the Trumps...

Read the whole thing.
Well, I read the whole thing.

I feel so culturally enriched.
How God must weep at humans' folly! Stand fast! God knows what he is doing!
Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Well, I read the whole thing.

I feel so culturally enriched.

I didn't read it.

I know what Hugh is saying.

His Establishment Republican masters are telling him to love Trump, so he loves Trump.

So why should I waste two minutes of my life reading his dreck?

So you can feel 'culturally enriched', too.

(I'm getting better at this. I typed that twice with a straight face... :silly:)
