Yesterday I suggested that a "Trump supporter" was really an outsourced disruptor from India and asked then how things were going in Mumbai.
I was told to either edit or remove the offensive post. Go figure.
It's apparent that the mods do not live in North Texas, specifically North Irving aka Valley Ranch, former home to the Dallas Cowboys. I've lived there 20 years, and it has become one of the preferred enclaves for Indians, and I don't mean Native Americans.
Last week, I was down in South Irving to pick up my car at the shop I've gone to for several years. Oddly enough, the owner is a Muslim. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to live. When I told him I live in Valley Ranch, he said, "you mean Bombay, don't you?" It's easy to identify women that are trying to assimilate into American culture: they're all wearing yoga pants.
The older women wear their colorful native dresses.
Lovely people, but terrible drivers. No doubt I'll be selling my house to a multi-generational Indian family in a couple of years. Not leaving the area, just want to move closer to church and the high school.
I'm a citizen of the world here: my ophthalmologist is a Sikh.
Apologies for the thread hijack.
