It’s the Democrats’ turn! Here’s what’s happening:
The Democratic National Convention, held in Philadelphia, is already off to a rocky start after a bruising, long primary fight between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
On Sunday, the night before the convention’s start, Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced she will step down after WikiLeaks published thousands of hacked DNC emails. Her resignation is effective after the convention.
Some of the emails showed staffers plotting to sabotage the Sanders campaign. Sanders then called for Wasserman Schultz to resign.
