It was reportedly a contentious, at times raucus, behind closed doors meeting between Texas senator Ted Cruz and several of his own Texas delegates who wanted to know why he didn’t help to further unify the party with an endorsement of GOP nominee, Donald Trump.

One of those delegates even went so far as to raise up a Clinton-Cruz 2020 sign, a gesture that made clear many among his own Texas delegates view Cruz as now helping, directly or indirectly, Hillary Clinton to defeat Donald Trump. Some indicated they would never vote for Ted Cruz again, regardless of what office he may choose to run for in the future:

I think it's starting to dawn on them that this campaign is currently in trouble and they're looking to pass blame should he end up losing.

Maybe you should  be directing that at the King of all things Orange, the Donald.  It appears he is the one who can't stand the heat.  He's the one who behaves like a spoiled 6 year old every time he doesn't get his way.  Sen. Cruz stood up to the heat quite well.  Or it's just entirely possible that this gentlemen loves his position more than he loves his wife and family. There are many like that in politics.
