Why is a candidate flawed as Hillary winning?
Because she wouldn't spend the morning after her convention speech attacking Bernie Sanders.

That is a prize winner.

This just in, Political's army of democrats still does all the thinking for those who think Cruz did no wrong.

http://jfkassassination.net/russ/testimony/steele.htm

This is the testimony of the man that Trump is knowingly, falsely claiming is Rafeal Cruz.

So, the man on the picture the National Enquirer claims is Rafael Cruz is actually Charles Hall Steele, Jr. ?

At this point, Trump got it just right. He explained that Cruz changed his speech AFTER he handed it in for approval. Trump explained that Cruz has never denied that it's dad in the photo with Lee Harvard Oswald, and saying they were in a photo together isn't saying papa Cruz was involved. Trump explained that it was Cruz supporters that released the photos of Melania, and Cruz NEVER renounced that.

Well, they've revved it back up.  I guess orders came in from HQ saying proceed in full denial mode.

That is what I had heard.  I checked into it as much as I could, as I am currently at work, but yeah, that's what I think.

So you believe Trump is justified in throwing a tantrum against old primary issues instead of attempting to unify the party going forward?

Just more Trumpslaining.

Trump is even more tediously venal and pathetic than we had even imagined. Thanks for the tip.

They were not Cruz supporters, he had nothing to do with it and yes, Cruz did denounce it

Even Sean Hannity admitted that. @Mechanicos needs to learn to pull the beam out of his own eye before he uses the words "false witness" in the future. Just more lies and Trumpsplaining from him.

At this point, Trump got it just right. He explained that Cruz changed his speech AFTER he handed it in for approval.

The SPECIFIC paragraph in his speech that elicited boo's were THERE in the text of his speech.

See here:

http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2016/07/ted_cruz_speech_at_republican.html

Search for the text: "vote your conscience"

So, even if he changed parts of his speech, the "offending" ( for want of a better word ) phrases were there in the original text.

So, what's Trump's issue? If Cruz did change something in the middle of his speech, what was NEGATIVE about Trump in the speech? Nothing.

I spent years investigating Pres. Kennedy's assassination. I can't believe I need to say this: Cruz's father was NOT involved.

They have never denied it so it must be true! :tongue2:

Trump explained that it was Cruz supporters that released the photos of Melania, and Cruz NEVER renounced that.

I have friends who are Democrats telling me that the KKK are supporting Trump's agenda. Do I ever imply in any of my posts that such supporters "proves"  that Trump is a KKK sympathizer?

Cruz has millions of supporters, he cannot control nor does he know the character of every single individual who supports him. Some of them, like the KKKers who support Trump, do dirty tricks on the internet.

It was the anti-Trump super PAC, Make America Awesome, that used a photo that originally was published in a 2000 photo spread in British GQ, and republished on March 4 online by the magazine. The ad read, “Meet Melania Trump. Your Next First Lady. Or, You Could Support Ted Cruz on Tuesday.”

Trump claimed that "that super PAC is very friendly to Ted Cruz. He knew all about it 100 percent. So he started. I didn’t start it."

BALONEY.

It is illegal for the Cruz campaign to coordinate with the super PAC. So what Trump is suggesting would violate federal regulations. If so, why did Trump's team not file suit? The law would be on his side.

And there’s no evidence that the Trump campaign has provided to back up the accusation.

Reporters  contacted Condé Nast Britain, which publishes British GQ, and a spokesman told them that the magazine no longer owns the rights to the photos of Melania Trump. So, anybody anywhere could have gotten the photo.

The Ted Cruz campaign DENIED any involvement with Make America Awesome.

Catherine Frazier, a spokeswoman for the Cruz campaign, told The Hill that the campaign didn’t purchase the rights to the photo. “Of course we haven’t and Trump knows it,” she said.

So, if you are going to accuse Cruz and his campaign of starting this bloody internet war, you better provide good evidence of it.

You know,  if Cruz would just stay engaged a little he can insure that King Trumpy stays focused on him instead of Hillary.   It will insure King Trumpy goes back to running a casino and trying to get his gig back with the apprentice.
America needs God's forgiveness....... Even if Donald Trump doesn't think he does.

No Pecker has ever won a Pulitzer Prize or, ever will.  But evidently you can have one run for president on the GOP ticket.

Look what I found:

So what was that “nasty” added line in the “first two sentences?”

The text of Cruz’s speech as it was prepared for delivery was released by the RNC before Cruz took the stage and the first few sentences read:

Thank you. Heidi and I are honored to join you here in Cleveland, where Lebron James just led an incredible comeback victory. I’m convinced America is going to come back too.

I congratulate Donald Trump on winning the nomination last night.

Conventions are times of excitement. But given the events of the last few weeks, I hope you’ll allow me a moment to talk to you about what’s really at stake.

Now, Time magazine has a transcript of Cruz’s delivered remarks, and if we put the “added” sentences in bold it reads:

Thank you, and god bless each and every one of you.

Heidi and I are so honored to join you here in Cleveland where LeBron James just lead an incredible comeback victory, and I am convinced America is going to come back too.

(APPLAUSE)

I want to congratulate Donald Trump on winning the nomination last night.

(APPLAUSE)

And, like each of you, I want to see the principles that our party believes prevail in November.

Conventions are times of excitement, but given the events of the last few weeks I hope you’ll allow me a moment to talk to you about what’s really at stake.

So, umm, which one of those sentences were “nasty?” Surely it wasn’t “God bless each and every one of you.” Likewise, it couldn’t have been “I am convinced America is going to come back too?"

Was it, “And, like each of you, I want to see the principles that our party believes in prevail in November?”

Trump said he thought it was very “dishonorable” of Sen. Cruz to add one of those sentences, that Cruz was “implying something.”
