Cops Plead With Mayor To Remove Black Lives Matter Banner From City Hall

July 21, 2016| by Brian Anderson

Somerville, MA is a mostly white (by a lot) suburb of Boston. For some strange reason the white democratic mayor decided to hang a Black Lives Matter banner on city hall. Okay, maybe it’s not that strange; he’s a guilty white liberal. In light of the BLM war on cops and the recent officer killings in Dallas and Baton Rouge, the Somerville Police are pleading with the mayor to remove the hateful banner. He’s not having it.

The banner in question features the Black Lives Matter hashtag as well as the Somerville city seal. This isn’t some goofy activist’s sign; it is an official city banner. Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone ordered the banner hung last summer and it has been there ever since.

When the banner first went up last year, Curatone defended it as powerful symbol.

I'm sure the good Mayor won't have one iota of bias if and when one of his police officers kills a black person in a line of duty shooting...nope, not at all.
Throwing our allegiances to political parties in the long run gave away our liberty.
