So strange.  You can see him talking and you can hear what he says, but it just doesn't compute with so many of his supporters.

What Trump was saying was he'd support the pledge as long as HE was the nominee. I'd bet everything I own (granted that's not a lot) that if Cruz had won the nomination (or Rubio or Kasich) that Trump would have taken his gold plated marbles and gone home to his tacky gold plated penthouse and either refuse to endorse the GOP nominee or would have endorsed Sanders and then Hillary.
