I thought you Trump Militants have said we are a small, fringe minority and we are totally and completely irrelevant?

How can we lead to a Clinton presidency simply because we oppose your prince when we are said that we do not matter?

And if we do somehow matter as you fear, because we adamantly refuse to support your madman - what do you intend to do about it?

Screw your militant crap. [adamantly] Every vote is going to count in this election.

Personally, I think Heidi is a lovely woman. It's her past positions that make her and Ted ugly.

What "positions"?  She's never run for or held elective office.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
I voted for Cruz so, I had no dog in that delegation.
If you support it, it's all yours.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

So when you wrote this :

I don't know why Cruz would be upset about that picture except for the fact he has to wake up to that mug every morning.

you meant this :

That's an insult to the intelligence of people reading this thread, just as it was when Trump tried the same pitiful evasion.  What is the purpose of insulting the wife of a man who is no longer running?  Will that draw votes away from Hillary and to Trump?  Will that sway independent, undecided voters?  Are you trying to help the Republican party gain the White House with that?

Better get to work then on courting Bernie Supporters then.

Your continued war against those of us who refuse to bend the knee to your prince is not helping your chances.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Possibly the ultimate oxymoron
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Some Cruz supporters show they can not carry on a conversation once again without being inflammatory:

No, nothing like this. Some of us are loyal, we vote for the Bushes, McCains, Romney. We know the anti-Romney sentiment probably helped there be a 2nd term for Obama; they hence, helped give us Trump. Some are pragmatic and know they won't get the perfect candidate.

"What "positions"?  She's never run for or held elective office."

CFR, this has already been stated and Ted Cruz called CFR a pit of vipers; even though his wife was in it.

Fine, life is not perfect, they are a couple trying to build a political life as well.  We know no one is perfect but this is globalism as well.

Quote
Heidi Cruz wrote a paragraph included under “Additional and Dissenting Views” that contended economic investment must be led by the private sector rather than government:

Quote
I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America. Economic prosperity and a world safe from terrorism and other security threats are no doubt inextricably linked. While governments play an invaluable role in both regards, we must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us – truly the measure of our success. As such, investment funds and financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants.

The paragraph did not address the newly formed SPP, which was enthusiastically endorsed in the first two pages of the CFR report.

The Bible is the inspired word of God; yet, almost sinfully, out of the Cruz camp came that video where it was alleged Marco Rubio said "there are no answers in there", apparently Rubio said the opposite.

All of this points to, is these politicians are not alone in slinging mud.

@TomSea

Then you clearly understand who is at fault for the position our country, our economy, and our freedoms being at risk. It was Party People like you, willing to vote for the lowest common denominator as long as it had the Big Red R on it's chest that have brought us to a point where our choice for president is between  two narcissistic sociopaths, one stupid and in love with himself, and one that is so evil she probably doesn't even love herself. She just loves to destroy people and organizations that refuse to worship her.

Was this an attempt to apologize? If it was,I didn't see the part where you say you are sorry and will never do it again.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Some Cruz supporters show they can not carry on a conversation once again without being inflammatory:

Loyal to what? Not principle, surely, or the Republican Party wouldn't be on a heading of 270.

If you are loyal to the Party, right or wrong, what's to stop it from being wrong?

Nothing but those who dissent from the constant drift to Port the Party has had since Reagan.
I can't remain loyal to a Party that does not espouse my principles--that's why I'm not a Democrat, a Communist, or a Socialist, either.

Until this campaign, I considered myself a Republican. That's only since Goldwater ran for President, but it ends this year.

As many here are fond of saying "I didn't leave the Republican Party, it left me.", and it did so by incremental moves, all the while decrying those of us who disagreed with those incrementally more Liberal stances as being 'disloyal'.

Well, maybe you disagree, but to me the greatest loyalties I have are to God, Family, and Country, and in that order. Within those three institutions I find the basis for the principles I hold dear, ones which there is no room for compromise.
When a political party conflicts with those principles it is my duty to either seek to change it back to being in line with those principles or to abandon it if it will not change.

My voice has not been alone in this, many have sought to return the GOP to Constitutional, moral, and fiscally sound practice, not just lip service at best, and we have been resolutely rebuffed in that.

So be it. My principles haven't changed. The Constitution hasn't changed. My God hasn't changed. Not one word of scripture has changed. And if you spend more money than you have that result hasn't changed.

All that has changed is the Republican Party's demonstrated approach to those principles. Ignore, Ignore, Ignore, and Deny.

Nothing there left to be loyal to, imho.

Nonsense.  She was in no position to influence policy.  You guys are scraping the bottom of the barrel to justify a crude insult from a vulgar clown who was deeper into political and banking circles and INFLUENCED them.

Quite well stated Joe.  The Republican Party has reduced itself merely to an opposing team wearing a different color jersey, but playing by all the same rules and with the same goals.  Its competition with the Democrats now means no more than Yankees versus Red Sox or Ohio State versus Michigan.  Those of us who still recognize principle behind politics are no longer welcome in the GOP, and take our leave of it with regret but without hesitation.

You got your one man parade of conservatism. Many don't buy it and don't need the condescending "Your prince";

Sorry, plenty of conservatives have lined up behind Trump; save the one-man parade, Ted and Mark Levin are the only conservatives and constitutionalists.  It's too bad, that again, we see, the debate can only be carried on this manner.

"Nonsense.  She was in no position to influence policy.  You guys are scraping the bottom of the barrel to justify a crude insult from a vulgar clown who was deeper into political and banking circles and INFLUENCED them."

First one doesn't know what she did, then, it becomes an accusation on others.

Sorry, if she didn't have the best intentions for America with this North American community nonsense, it's fair game.

Ted Cruz called the CFR a brood of vipers; so, if Heidi was in CFR; guess what?
