I have not sen you posting here before; but I am looking forward to seeing more. I am here as a FR Refugee. Got a PM over there from @mystery-ak which I took as more or less an order:"Get over here" with a link. Well, I did and I am glad I did.
With all respect, I think the Lord has already revealed the truth about Trump. And I rest assured that He doesn't expect me to throw support to a man who openly mocks Him.From his book, "Think Like A Billionaire":
Trump is a dangerous, erratic and immature man who doesn't take responsibility for anything. That makes him at least as much of a threat as anything Obama/Clinton can throw at us. Even worse is the fact tat he doesn't seem capable of learning from his mistakes.Clinton as a criminal who belongs in prison for Benghazi but she does learn from her mistakes and won't let that one happen again. As far as Clinton going to prison, chances of that evaporated when Trump snuggled up to the GOP establishment. There is some guilt one the GOPe for being involved in that mess and Clinton going down would take some big name republicans with her. Ted Cruz was the only one I heard pointing to responsibility for Libya on both sides of the aisle and he said his AG pic would be directed to pursue the truth and prosecution on both sides of the aisle if that's where it belonged.
Yeah, of all our choices we end up with the guy who praised Billzebubba as a good president, praised Hillary's as Sec. of State, was a registered Democrat for the first 4 years of Obummer, and has a wife that admires Michelle Obama. This is the chosen one that can beat Hillary?! There were plenty of other choices that we could have lived with. But no, the country just had to have the democrat from NY. Because Wall- Oh wait, it's just a virtual wall with a big beautiful door. Because Refugees- Oh wait, he doesn't want to get rid of them anymore and closed the convention the other day with a muslim prayer. I don't know what Donny has left. Because abortion - Oh wait, he back peddled on that too. Because taxes- Oh, wait he wants to raise taxes. I guess destroying the world economy with tariffs. Yee Haw! That's my two cents.
I could get with that reasoning if someone were holding a gun to my head in the voting booth. But as it is, I don't "have" to do anything and no hand was dealt to me.I have free will, and no one owns my vote. It must be earned. If I were to vote for Clinton or Trump, it would be hard to live with myself. Rejecting both of those disasters is the only acceptable option for me.
@Right_in_Virginia I love it that you're finally admitting you really do need our votes, after all. Back when you and your candidate dismissed the concept, some of us always knew you'd change your tune. But you're out of luck, because you'll never get mine. And don't presume to lecture me on the "importance of voting" for a progressive Hillary donor, because it's ridiculous on its face.Have fun!
Only time will tell.
Right there with you! No more will I play prisoner's dilemma with the two (really one) party candidates!
That is a MAJOR problem with supporting TRump over Hillary. If Hillary wins she will have opposition to her agenda from the right. If Trump wins he won't.
When you lay it all out like that it sounds even more ridiculous.
Yep, I couldn't stand him before he ran for president, either. He was always just a gasbag braggart. Now I know he's worse than that.

OK I think I'm starting to understand why Trumpers are so angry. I'd be angry too if I supported a candidate who threatened to give me ideological whiplash. They need to stop venting their anger on us and focus it on the cause.
The next time someone uses that "you have to vote for Trump, because Hillary" crap....tell them this: "I would rather let Joe babysit my kids instead of Mike because Joe has raped fewer kids than Mike."Let that sink in for a second. Now, understand that this is exactly what you sound like when you're attempting to justify your decision to vote for the lesser of two evils.
...As per my previous example, the house is gone. ...

When you consider how much "opposition" Obama has had from the right - then how will Hillary be any different?
That does not really apply here. If a tornado hits your house, you know the house is toast. You don't need to wait and hope for a better revelation from God.
Andy in Canada after Voting for Trump and drinking lots of bourbon!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqymcJRSbxI
Tell me that He expects me to support someone amoral? No. If I believed that, I would be deluding myself. There's no way I will vote for either of the progressives in this race.
MammaI just killed AmericaPulled the lever for Don TrumpVoted for his tiny hands now its dead...
I think it was either John or Sam Adams who made the same point about having a clear enemy at the head of government that can be fought.
It was Alexander Hamilton.
