Repub4TrumpPence has nothing to apologize about,

I can be here because I was a Walker support, or Cruz support or Perry Supporter but above all, a GOP supporter, so no one should not be bullied out of here because they want to say "Trump supporters have their own thread", whoopie!

Repub4TumpPence has nothing to apologize about, those dissatisfied with the process to really nothing but aim personal attacks at others. Without naming names, no one should feel bullied in a forum. That' means abuse.

Sorry, that's the way it is, it is as some forums say, discuss the issues not the poster. Very weak.

The Cruz Trump alliance has ended, it really is Trump's fault for making to brash of statements.

If Trump is liberal, while Cruz is conservative, it's pretty hypocritical.

She is welcome to ban me. I have not been banned at TOS, but mostly because I have a new place to go; here.

I may vote for Trump, but his lack of conservative principles leaves him very open for criticism in my book.

I saw no profanity, I did not read all posts, again, one can note one by one, if one doesn't walk lockstep in hate of Trump, the previous page shows there are personal attacks, WTF, BB.

I still don't mind R4TP's remarks though, seeing the abuse that those who don't march lockstep in Trump hate endure though.

Tom, you're being intentionally provocative. You've made about a dozen posts on this thread and they all seem aimed at baiting others into an argument.

I would like to propose a metaphor to describe the current state of the GOP:

Ten friends decide they want to go out for dinner. Four of the friends say, "Let's get seafood!" Some of the other friends object and the friends admit, "Well, I'd be satisfied with Mexican food, but I really want seafood!"

Three of the friends say, "I can't eat seafood. It makes me physically ill. I'm 'never seafood.' How about Italian? They might have some seafood type dishes there..."

"Wait," says a few friends, "If those four are OK with Mexican, maybe we should just do that?"

Finally the friends say, "Let's put it to a vote. We'll go to whatever restaurant gets the most votes."

"Well, OK guys, but let me remind you: we three won't eat seafood, it makes us physically ill."

The vote is cast.

4 for seafood
3 for Italian
3 for Mexican

"Great!" exclaim the seafood proponents. "Seafood it is!" They and three others agree that the rules were set, and they are going to the seafood restaurant.

"Well," say the three who hate seafood, "we're hungry too, so we are going to the Italian restaurant. See you later."

The seafood crowd goes apoplectic. "You're anti-democracy! We agreed to take a vote! You have to eat seafood! *You* are breaking up our outing! We hate you! Go to hell!"

The only personal attacks are against public figures, which we are allowed to do. No posters are being attacked over here.

A greater example of projection you will never find, given the four-letter vulgar invective and vitriol that that Repub4TumpPence let fly on yesterday's Convention thread towards all of us who oppose Trump.

'No one should feel bullied on a forum' is a pretty lame statement when one of the owners spewed profanity at former members of FR that do no support Trump and told them to get off her board.

So hey y'all. Finally on the new thread, darn work kept distracting me...

From what I can tell the only outbreak of derangement at yesterday's convention (aside from the attempted messing about with the delegate votes) was the appearance of a tweet from a white nationalist on the "big board" that runs around the convention hall. Pretty small beer that only political junkies might notice, IMHO.

So the highlight today will be Sen. Cruz's speech. While I'll listen and expect to hear a decent speech, I doubt I'll hear what I really want to hear (that he's leaving the party and will run for reelection to his Senate seat as a member of the Constitution Party). But who knows, stranger things have happened, especially nowadays.

I don't know why you keep harping on this,Tom. Cruz was gracious to all the candidates. He tried to stay above personal attacks and treat all the candidates with respect. There was a whole lot of ballyhoo used against Cruz for being cordial to Bush and Rubio, too. It is just who he is, a polite, respectful man. He thought everyone was going to debate the issues and he was ready for that. He wasn't trying to make enemies, he was trying to create unity.
