You're as self-centered as Trump is.   You say shit like that,  and folks will work just that much harder to defeat Trump.

Give it a rest, jerk. The fascism and Nazi references are so passé. Can't you come up with a new routine?

What has Trump affirmatively said or done to make Conservatives want to vote for him?

It would be nice if Donny came up with something new like a coherent plan to defeat Hillary instead of recycling tired falsehoods against Cruz.

He'll get around to us. He'll have to strike out with Bernie supporters first.

Doesn't matter, @txradioguy

He's not Hillary Clinton.  That's ALL you need to think about.

I think it would be wise, after 2016, to realize that we're going to need a big tent if we're going to have any chance of remaining competitive with the Democrats in the future.

Like it or not, Cruz has a large following, large enough that he was able to last longer than any other recent primary loser. So continuing to attack him, especially when he represents so many of the core values of conservative thought that make us different from the Democrats, is not smart; also note that Cruz is young enough to be Trump's son and will be in politics a lot longer than Trump, who will probably run one more election if that, will.

Trump has brought some issues to the forefront that needed to be discussed, namely that domestic and economic defense are just as important to our security as the use of our military. (Whether he is the right man to deliver on those is another issue altogether.)

I know!  The question is why Trump keeps up the passé fascism and Nazi behaviors?

Neither is Darrell Castle.  Or Ted Cruz for that matter.  I will choose Castle on the ballot or write in Cruz.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

keep tellin yourself that...when the next stage of Ocare wraps it's tentacles ever tighter around your neck and while you can still choke out the words 'Never Trump' ..... Trump at least "promised" he would repeal it...

Trumps promises aren't worth spit. He also offered nationalized healthcare "and the government is going to pay for it!"

Trump at least "promised" he would repeal it....this not an endorsement of him not at all this is about survival and living to fight the conservative fight another day...if Hillary is elected conservatism will die with this generation

Trump himself is ensuring that Hillary will be elected, East.  Why do you think he hasn't spent squat on ads?  Why do you think he spent more time attacking Cruz and the others that refused to endorse him this week....than he spent attacking Hillary....when he's already won the nomination?  Trump, like every typical leftist Democrat, gives a whole new meaning to the term "sore winner".

And as a president....not that he has Hillary's fat cankles chance in Hell of winning....he would be just as big of a despot as Obama has been....and maybe even a bigger one....since he has known nothing but wealth in his life and that wealth has brought power.  And as we all know....absolute power corrupts absolutely.  Trump is corrupted absolutely already.  Hate to think what he'd be like to his opponents with the power of the presidency behind him too.

I think it would be wise, after 2016, to realize that we're going to need a big tent if we're going to have any chance of remaining competitive with the Democrats in the future.

I appreciate your optimism, but let us consider reality for a moment.

Mathematically, there is no chance for the GOP to compete with the Democrats in the future. Declining birthrates, soaring emplacement of foreign nationals to replace citizens, and an open border welfare state alone belittle any chance of competing with a Socialist/Leftist party.

That the GOP has now officially embraced the Democrat social platform and big government corporatism with punitive trade policies - there is no discernible difference between two ostensibly liberal Left parties and the most radical will get the support and attention.

The GOP has opened their giant tent to embrace the Democrat and Leftist Agenda and platform, and made it very certain that Constitutional Conservatives whose fealty is the the Constitution and not to party - are not welcome at all, and have in-fact been run out of the party by the Establishment with major help from Trump.

While that was true perhaps last week, now that the GOP has built a wall to empower Priebus and the Establishment with sole rule-making powers, Cruz has no future in the Republican party - possibly on orders from McConnell himself.  Trump just declared this morning he was going to fund a PAC to oust Cruz from the Senate next election.  They will make what McConnell did with Thad Cochran's race against the Conservative, tame in comparison.

Trump has brought some issues to the forefront that needed to be discussed, namely that domestic and economic defense are just as important to our security as the use of our military.

He did that in the beginning of his run for the purpose of telling the GOP base what it has been begging to hear, and thus drawing them to his support which only grew as he went after the liberal media.  Once he was the clear front-runner he began to turn on every Conservative in the most vicious and vile manner ever seen in modern US politics.

It was then that I began to see him as what I think he actually is: a Trojan Stalking Horse for Hillary.

Which is probably the best case scenario, given that if he really wants to take the throne, our liberties are in more immediate danger than from Hillary.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself whether I would ever think that my moral stature is at the mercy of your actions.
that is not what I was saying at all but, OTH your decisions as far as a national election goes could definitely affect my life in this country.Of that there is no doubt.
