Politics is fun and interesting, but nobody should be that impassioned that they let it affect their life. Get some other hobbies or interests. Face is that you're 1 in 350 million people. Impossible for one vote to change much.
Umm........... see my screen name?? I have LOTS of hobbies, including my profession, which is a joy. I also love sports, and physical fitness, have four fascinating, brilliant children, and an amazing 40 year marriage. And I am devoted to the LORD, who gives me strength.
That said, it doesn't change the fact that I was born political. I was only 10 when JFK debated Nixon and I remember it well. I have political buttons back to "I Like Ike." It's been part of my very rich and varied life for 67 years, and losing what I thought I had is a blow, no matter what fraction of my life politics held.
But losing my country is even worse. And now, I fear it is lost for good.............. or at least for the remainder of my life here on earth.
Please don't dismiss its importance in our lives.
