Clinton's lead narrows to 4 points in national poll

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 4 points in a new poll that shows the presidential race tightening in recent weeks.

Clinton has the support of 47 percent of voters nationally in an ABC News/Washington Post poll released Sunday morning. Trump takes 43 percent.

In a June 23rd version of the same poll, Clinton held a 12-point lead, 51 to 39 percent.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll also released Sunday morning shows Clinton with a 5-point lead over her likely November general election rival in results unchanged since June.
