The next president will be appointing between 3 and 5 Supreme Court Judges during their term. If he nominates as he has already listed the liberal Gingrich will be swamped by conservative judges.

Or not.  The current Senate has shown that just because the President nominates a Supreme Court justice doesn't mean they have to act on it.  Or if the President nominates a federal court judge.  Or an ambassador.
