4 - Freedom of the Press

I'm amazed by those videos Mark Dice puts up, though I guess I shouldn't be. People don't know the meaning of the 4th of July, they can't name one founding father, they don't know who we fought the Revolutionary War against, they have no concepts of WW I or II ....

The one that made me weep was the student who thought the Bay of Pigs was a song by Pink Floyd.

His latest video was asking if people read "Big Brother" or "Animal Farm". I guess that's not in school curricula anymore.

It is very clear when you look at Trumpists, who don't seem to grasp what a delegate is, or the reasons we don't have direct elections.  TOS, for example, used to pride itself on civics, but now look at how clueless the place is!

I agree the number is far too low. I see people who should be in the know completely misunderstand it all the time (like saying they have a First Amendment right to post what they want on Facebook or on a forum).
