Unrelated arrests made for threatening cops on social media

By Arthur Weinreb     42 mins ago in Crime

On Friday, one day after five police officers were killed in Dallas, three individuals were arrested and charged after it was alleged they threatened to kill police officers and whites. These threats were all made on social media.

Friday morning a woman in Evergreen Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, was arrested at her home. Jenesis Reynolds, 24, was charged with disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor.

According to police, Reynolds is alleged to have posted on her Facebook page that if she ever gets stopped by police and told to get out of her car, "I'm shooting instantly." The post went on to note that she will die but has no trouble "taking one for the team." She allegedly said she would have no problem shooting a police officer during a traffic stop "cuz they'd have no trouble doing it to me."
