Dallas police shooting: 'Black Power group' claims responsibility for police killings and warns of more assassinations to come

A self-proclaimed black power group appears to have claimed responsibility for the assassinations of five police officers at a Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas.

Five officers were gunned down by at least two shooters who picked out officers from an 'elevated position' - believed to be a multi-storey car park.

It came in the week of public outrage over the deaths of two black men shot by police.

The Black Power Political Organisation wrote on its Facebook account that it was behind the attack and that 'more assassinations are coming'.


The Facebook message posted from the Black Power Political Organization account

The message - posted in the aftermath of the shootings - said: "‪#‎BlackPower‬! ‪#‎BlackKnights‬! Sniper Assassins Take Down Five Police Officers! And More Will Be Assassinated In The Coming Days! Do You Like The Work Of Our Assassins? Get Your Own Sniper Rifle And Join Our Thousands Of Sniper Assassins Worldwide In The Fight Against Oppression!”

Listening to Lynch speak now carrying Obama's water because after he blew it yesterday he certainly can't go before the public today without looking like the utter fool that he is.

She mentioned guns out of peoples hands who should not have them.....and the whole "lovey dovey" speech she's now well known for.

She  minimized this just as they're saying......this administration fails to see the reason there are more blacks in prison, more being arrested, more because more of them are committing crimes more than any others in the population....

Texas ain't Chicago, there will be retribution from the police most certainly and I do not foresee many live suspects being taken into custody, especially with the Dallas PD's new policy of negotiating with robotic bombs.

And just so its not missed because you know they are already blaming access to AR-15s.   The AR-15 style rifle is not a sniper rifle. Quality sniper rifles are priced far out of reach for most bad guys costing in excess of $3000, and with a quality scope add another $2000.    Far easier to obtain and very common large caliber hunting rifles with a $200 scope can be just as deadly and just as accurate as those properly called "sniper rifles".     Point being, making access to the AR-15 the issue does nothing to prevent this from happening.

Yes.  And it is also not an "assault rifle".  However....the AR-15 can be modified with a slide fire trigger to shoot very much like an assault weapon.  So far, it is legal to make that modification.  Give them time.   They'll outlaw it.
