Human rights activist Jessie Jackson has pointed the finger at Donald Trump and his followers for helping to create a rising climate of fear in America which has contributed to the shocking deaths of five police officers in downtown Dallas.

Rev Jackson said there was an 'anti-black mood' in America which also saw discrimination against immigrants, Muslims and women.

Speaking in the aftermath of the coordinated attack on 11 police officers in Dallas, Rev Jackson called on President Barack Obama to hold a conference on violence and racial disparities.'

The division in this country started with the election of G.W.Bush and has been growing with 0bama's assistance for the last 8 years.  Trump has been on the political stage for a year now.

I think the politicians are just a symptom of a larger cultural phenomenon ... something that people like Charles Murray (e.g., Coming Apart) have been writing about for a while now.  Basically, there's a growing us vs. them dynamic between an increasingly insular power elite, and everybody else.  And the various groups within "everybody else" are convenient game pieces for the power players as they maneuver for advantage among themselves.

Knowing this doesn't lessen the real tension between the groups, but it does help to explain why we can't talk about things like root causes.

  • I don't believe in Trump anymore, he's an illusion
This is RICH!......now it's Trump's fault.
I have my issues with Trump, but someone help me out here, exactly when has he proposed or said things that target or alienate Blacks? Browns, specifically Mexicans(what about the Central Americans) and mooslims most certainly, but Blacks?. Like clockwork, the Black racists want to blame a White man, yea all Whites, for the hatred and misery that they and demonrats have been fomenting in America since the 60's. Until the demonrats started HELPING the Blacks they had solid families, values and employment on a par with other races throughout America. It appears the liberals and socialists are finally getting the race war they have been incubating.
