"Breaking News! If Ted Cruz, John Kasich and others don't endorse Donald Trump, they won't be invited to speak at the Republican National Convention!"

Huckabee has spoken at every GOP convention in some capacity since 1992, and writes that all the presidential nominees in those conventions, including George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush, John McCain and Mitt Romney, controlled all details of the convention, including who sang the National Anthem to open it and who closes it in prayer.

But Huckabee said the bigger story is being missed, because nobody is talking about the "outright lie" many of his other former contenders said on national TV in the first debate last August, when they promised to support the eventual nominee.

But the candidates agreed they'd support whoever survived the "cage match," said Huckabee, and he is gladly supporting Trump "because I respect the voters and the process and accept the verdict."

Huckabee ought to go back to Hicksville ArKansas and shut up.  He had his shot in the limelight and went nowhere.

It is not "His" stage, it is the Republican National Convention stage. It does not belong to one.

I own it.

It will be converted into a disco stage.

And I say that no one except for chickens will be allowed on it.

Chickens only!

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

And how does Donald Trump really feel about the will of the voters?

Well as with all things Donald it depends on whether he can come out on top.

Huckabee has done a lot of good things in his time; I won't forget them. But his siding with Trump is confusing (at best).

 :huh?:
America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign. -Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Huckabee is a fraud.  Don't forget the stunt he pulled at the KY clerk who wouldn't issue a Same Sex Marriage Cetificate.

Cruz wanted to join to show solidarity, but Huckabee ran him off the stage so he could take 100% of the political capital.

He's an inbred Trumpet fool.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Huck is looking for a job in donnie's administration. He has no skills, no trade (except bass player)(LOL) or experience he can make a living with. His time with his show on Fox is past so he is looking for a paycheck.

If you look real close in photos of the Huckster you will see a slight tinge of brown, an obvious trace of trump DNA.

Like Trump, Huck is a big-government guy.

Mike Huckabee's love affair with big government

The big pro-amnesty/illegal immigration push you see in this country right now, you know where the model came from? That's right - Arkansas. Huck was the one who started the import illegals for cheap labor (Tyson Foods) then put them on welfare to compensate for the cheap wages.

That was Huck, and funny how Trump's cozied up to him isn't it?

Trump has figured out that there are enough morons in the country that all he has to do is tell them what they want to hear even if he turns around and says exactly the opposite. At some point they simply stopped listening to what he says and now they just rely on their imaginations for what he will do.

In another thread a poster was cheering how Trump will utterly destroy the Clintons and disgrace them and leave them in the gutter. Trump on the other hand is bored with the idea of going after Clinton.

This is true.  In fact, Huckabee gave the mexican gov a consulate in L.R. for the annual fee of $1 so that the Tyson workers would have a place to go to get their green cards.

FACT:  Not one sonofabitchin republican ever said one g-damned word about it.

The rest is history.
