Having a hard time taking this on faith.....
An unidentified gunman negotiated with police from inside a parking garage into the early morning hours, telling police he was angered over racially charged shootings and wanted to kill white people, police said. He was killed when police sent a robot in to detonate a bomb he had, police said.

It appears the perp who was cornered for hours eventually was killed by an explosive delivered by a robot. That's a new one.
I object to the title of this thread. These protests were not peaceful.
Please point us to a news report that says otherwise.
5 dead cops maybe? By definition this was not a peaceful protest.
The marchers themselves were peaceful. The shooters took advantage of the concentration of police, but were not part of the march.
BLACK LIVES MATTER IS A DOMESTIC TERRORIST ORGANIZATION!
I understand your point but the shootings were not part of the protest. Shootings at movie theaters, schools, night clubs, etc... The violence was separate.
How do you know, exactly? My point still stands, the protests were not peaceful. BLM is a terrorist organization.
Are you suggesting, then, that the whole point of the march was to set up the Dallas Police for assassination?
Was there widespread looting last night? Rioting? Any of the other things that one usually associates with non-peaceful protests?
Los Angeles Times@latimes#Breaking: Dallas gunman is ID'ed as Micah X. Johnson, 25. No known criminal history or ties to terror groups
For heavens sake we are going to argue over the title of this thread.....
